At this time of writing, 2014, I live in a mountain pueblo in the north of Spain. Another of the Pilgrim Family of websites has chronicled the pueblo life over the years.

There are barely a thousand inhabitants in this place of old stone and steep hillsides. A thousand people, a thousand opinions, a thousand beliefs – a microcosm of society.

And a thousand mini-messages tucked into the minutiae of daily life.
